Notes: It allows standard
24 fps 16mm movie film to be recorded by standard NTSC video
cameras (30 fps) without flicker. 5-blade shutters
produce 5 flashes of image for each frame (120 per second),
which is an even multiple of NTSC video nominal 30 frames
(60 fields) per second, eliminating flicker.
These
shutter is high-precision laser cut from 6061 aluminum for
strength and rigidity and deburred to remove sharp edges. It
is designed with black satin color to further reduce optical
glare.
To
convert your projector, you replace the original 3-blade
shutter with this five-blade shutter. If you are not
experienced, you should get a technician to do the
conversion. Installation can be easy, taking approx. 30
minutes on average.
